You are warmly invited to our church and to our public Christian Science Reading Room to discover the practical relevance of Christ Jesus’ teachings for our world today.

Serving Rockville and Montgomery County, Maryland, our church is one of the worldwide branches of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts.

As Christians, we endeavor to obey Jesus’ two great commandments: Love God and Love your neighbor as yourself.

What is God?

Who is Our Neighbor?

Jesus answered this question with his parable of the Good Samaritan. In following this teaching, we consider everyone – all of humanity – to be our neighbor. We are a community striving to follow Jesus’ example of healing and universal love – without proselytizing, pressure, or doctrines.

Why Christian "Science"?

A science is a system of knowledge based on evidence. Jesus gave proof of his teaching through healing sin and sickness and overcoming death. His practice of Christianity was based on divine laws that can be proved by his followers today as well.
